Lateral penetrating damp in below-ground situations is a problem commonly faced in older property. Until recently there was no cost effective and efficient tanking medium to remedy this problem.

Now Tywi Damp Proofing can offer a range of Sovereign and Mapei products and services specifically designed to counter not only the problems of penetrating moisture, but also as a total solution where water penetration under pressure is encountered.

Although developed primarily as remedial treatments, the two systems offered, Sovereign Hey'di K11 and Mapei Cementitious System or Mapelastic Flexible System have many applications both as preventative treatments and various civil engineering waterproofing requirements.

Hey'di and Mapei have been manufacturing these products in Europe and distributing them worldwide for many years - both systems have proved themselves highly effective in retaining extreme water pressures under severe climatic conditions.
